Tactics can be defined as actions that take advantage of opportunities offered by the gaps within a particular strategy. A criminal has a strategy for making money, that is to rob you on a dark street. When confronted, you use tactics to foil his plan and safely escape.

You don't have to be a commando to understand tactics any more than you have to be a carpenter to use a saw. Secure Defense teaches basic principles and simple maneuvers that are easily adaptable to a variety of situations. We train you not just to recognize opportunities but to create them. With the right attitude and the right preparation you can dramatically reduce the chance you'll end up a victim.

In our opinion, the most effective tactics are avoidance and evasion. Unfortunately, they are not always options. With the safety of our students as our paramount consideration, we use role playing and realistic props to provide a hands on learning experience. Our program is friendly to beginners and at the same time, our diverse training allows us to incorporate a variety of perspectives sure to interest more advanced students.
